Chris Deacon

Chris Deacon is a healthcare thought leader that brings a wealth of experience in both the public and private sector. Driven by her passion to change the healthcare system to truly benefit patients and payers, she focuses on bringing solutions and agency to self-funded and government-sponsored health plans.
Deacon speaks nationally about a variety of healthcare topics and is perhaps best known for her "no non-sense" approach to employer driven healthcare reform. Prior to founding VerSan Consulting, LLC, Deacon was involved in running one of the largest health plans in the country for the State of New Jersey, covering over 800,000 lives consisting of public sector employees, teachers and uniformed professionals. Deacon has also served as NJ Deputy Attorney General, and then Special Assistant Counsel to the Governor's Office.

Nichole is an experienced and self-motivated marketing associate and operations manager with over twenty years of experience working closely with the public. Nichole has an immense passion for helping vulnerable populations in need and finding them opportunities to succeed. Prior to joining VerSan Consulting, LLC, Nichole studied English and Elementary Education at Rutgers University, Camden and is now on a mission to help Founder, Chris Deacon, spread awareness of healthcare transparency.
